Albany, New York: I have read what you had to say online about hormone imbalances and fybromyalgia.
As I grow older, my symptoms increase including the severe bodily pain that can only be likened to rheumatoid
arthritis.
I have gained so much weight that I am in fear of heart attack or worse I had a full hysterectomy last April due to historical problems with cysts, pain and abnormal bleeding.  All of the readings on your website sound very familiar to my own hystory. I would like to know if your therapy for these conditions is actually something I can afford to look into and how much improvement could I expect.
Dr. Roby answers
We treat fibromyalgia and weight loss everyday. We are sure that it causes hormone imbalance and/or allergy.
Keep in mind, that traditional physicians are trained to diagnose and treat traditional diseases and disorders. They are not trained to recognize or treat imbalances. Especially hormone imbalances. These doctors do the best that they can, with what they have, so they try to reconcile the symptoms with the closest disease diagnosis that they know. Unfortunately, there are many, many incorrect diagnoses, and the patients don’t get well. If they had been successful with you, you wouldn’t have to be searching for a solution.
We have a whole different way of looking at hormones than conventional medicine does and we are very successful with patients like you.     Â
We use a five part program. Conventional medicine, diet (low carb, low fat; we like South Beach), movement (looong, slooow distance walking), spirituality (your spirituality, not ours), and complementary and alternative medicine (bioidentical hormone therapy and connecting with your spiritual side). There is a whole other nonmedical side of the protocol to help you to feel better as well.
