Location: New Braunfels, TX.

Your Question: Hi there ,I became menopausal at age 40 due to ovararian cysts .Iam taking no hormones .I am a smoker and have fibrocystic tissue in my breast .I have been told that I can not take hormones. Are your treatments with hormones? Iam totally misurable and have been for 4 years , no energy, pain ,no memory, weight gain ,and total shut down from the public,I stay home dont wont to get involved in any thing . Can you help me or not?

Answer: We treat ovarian cysts with dilutions of progesterone, just as we do with many other types of hormonal problems.  Most of the time, we find that there is an allergic reaction to various hormones going on with these types of complaints. The hormones that they are referring to, that you cannot take, are probably only the sex hormones. That still leaves a bunch of them, that we can help you keep under control. We can certainly make you feel better than you do right now.

If you are having other hormonal problems, which you can be, we can treat those imbalances, along with your other, more mundane allergies, and at the very least, help you to feel better. If you are having an allergic reaction to one or more of your own hormones, we can give you sublingual drops to alleviate the symptoms that you are having. Easy to use, and very effective.

Since you live so close to us, my suggestion would be that you call us: 800-842-6349, and make an evaluation appointment. That way, you can see for yourself, whether it will work for you or not. Just ask to speak with Pam, if she is available. If she isn´t,available when you call, let her call you back. She can help you with the process.

We do accept almost all healthcare plans, including MCare, MCaid, and Military. We exclude Humana.

Our policy, because we are confident that our method works well, is to offer a money back ´satisfaction guarantee´ all patients. If you come in for a trial visit, and we find that we cannot help you, you aren’t pleased with the results, or you don’t see significant improvement before you leave the office, there is no charge for the visit. If you decide to become a patient, try the protocol, and after some time, conclude that you are not achieving the results that you had hoped for, just let us know and we will refund any money that you have paid to us.

While you are thinking it over, go back to the website: www.robyinstitute.com, and take advantage of the offer of a free download of the first chapter of Dr. Roby’s new book,”Maybe It Is All In Your Head … And You Are Not Crazy!” You will be amazed at the knowledge that you will gain, just from reading that small excerpt. You will know more about hormones, in general, than most doctors when they finish med school. You will also gain much insight to what is going on with your own hormones; in your own body. If you have any questions, email them to me and I will answer them for you.

Thank you for sharing a part of your life with us. Now, let’s get you back to the real you, and stop the pain.

SYMPTOMS: AUTOIMMUNE PROGESTERONE DERMATITIS, LIVER DAMAGE, SWOLLEN THROAT, ANAPHYLAXIS, VISION AND HEARING DISTURBANCES, JOINT/MUSCLE PAIN, ACIDOSIS, ESTROGEN ALLERGY

Monday, June 8th, 2009

Location:  Springfield, IL

Your Question:   Hi, I was recently diagnosed with Autoimmune Progesterone
Dermatitis by my Immunologist. I have seen 15 specialists in 2 yrs and this is the first Dr. that has had a clue. I believe I have always had this condition due to recurrent hives beginning at the age of 10. I took Chantix 2 yrs ago and it caused liver damage/disease. Since then, my food, drink, hormone allergies have spun out of control so severely that I now suffer from anaphylaxis (gastroparesis, hyperinflation in lungs, swollen throat, vision and hearing disturbances, joint and muscle pain, hives, facial swelling, LPR, vomiting, Low O2 blood levels, acidosis, etc.) starting about 10 days before each period every other month. The only time I have ever been healthy since puberty was when I was pregnant but I did suffer preterm labor starting at 4 months.

My treatment options are very limited being Lupron (I fear serious reaction to this one) or oophorectomy. The first problem is that I also have very serious responses to anything that contains estrogen. I can’t even have a 1/2 cup of coffee. So I could not have any hormone replacement therapy if they remove my ovaries and I’m only 33yrs. old. The other problem is that I have also started suffering frontal lobe seizures since Chantix and am concerned that the meds for this (Lamictal)will also cause serious reaction as I can not tolerate any kind of chemical drugs. I only suffer the seizures when I am suffering from anaphylaxis or take benadryl for anaphylactic shock. I also have an epipen but am afraid to use it because I have cardiac involvement during anaphylactic episodes. I also have all symptoms of estrogen dominance being fibroid cysts in breasts, ovarian cysts, acne, depression, ADHD, severe PMS and menstrual cramping, super high histamine levels, fungal infections, serious response to to anything containing xenoestrogens, etc.

I have been told by my immunologist that if I have my ovaries removed and can’t have estrogen (HRT) that my seizures will get much worse with more frequent and repeated episodes. My Aunt began having gran mal epileptic seizures when she started her periods but they have stopped since she has gone thru menopause. I assume the seizures are related to the progesterone allergy and if the problem is corrected my seizures will stop. My question is,
could I be suffering from estrogen dominance as the underlying culprit and causing the anaphylactic episodes to myown progesterone? Bad estrogen causing super high histamine levels and leading to an autoimmune response to progesterone and various other substances. Since I now have liver damage, is it possible that bad estrogen is overflowing in my system causing high histamine and autoimmune responses to my own hormones? I can not use progesterone cream to correct estrogen dominance. I can’t have estrogen therapy because of the fibroid cysts in
my breast, ovarian cysts, and severe reaction to xenoestrogens and without estrogen, I will have more seizures which I can not have prescription drugs for due to my liver damage and chemical sensitivities.  I have been
looking into DIM to help my liver increase good estrogen, reduce bad estrogen, and lower histamine levels. My main concern is that this will also increase my progesterone levels possibly causing a more severe reaction. But on the other hand, if I get my good/bad estrogen balanced and reduce my blood histamine levels, I may not react to my own progesterone anymore. Does treatment with DIM sound like a good idea as far as getting the autoimmune progesterone anaphylaxis under control or will it make the condition worse? Please, please help me before they
start removing my female organs!

Response: Please, do not let anyone make a cut, of whatever size, anywhere on your body, until you can come and see us. I am confident that we can help you to get past this, and feel good again.

We are all so sorry that you are suffering these symptoms. You do need help to get back your life, and I think that we can offer it to you. Interestingly enough, your symptoms are all consistent with what we call hormone imbalance/hormone allergy. It is pretty easy to recognize, and very easy to treat. If there is a diagnosis to prefer, it would be ours. You could be a poster girl for what we do. Traditional medicine has now given it a name, as well; a little longer, not so easy to say or remember: Progesterone mediated hyper inflammation, or sensitivity.

Before we go on, I’m going to ask you to go back to the Roby Institute website: robyinstitute.com, and avail yourself of Dr. Roby’s offer of a free download of the first chapter of his new book, “Maybe It Is All In Your Head … And You Are NOT Crazy!”. Reading this excerpt will give you remarkable insight on the battle  going on in your immune system, how hormones and allergies can become the decisive factor in your life (hormones are part of anything and everything that occurs in the body), why it is happening, how we can stop it, and teach you the way to take back your life, and maintain it under control, from now on.

When you have finished your reading, you will have more knowledge of hormones, in general, than most doctors have when they finish medical school. If you have more questions, just email them to me for answering.

We agree with your opinion that you were probably born with a hormone imbalance. We know that anyone born in or after 1941, would fall into that category. Prior to that year, babies who were born allergic, or with hormone imbalance, had little hope of reaching adulthood, because they were unable to produce enough cortisol, one of the adrenal hormones, designed to help deter allergies, and infections. These children usually died of some childhood disease, early in life.

In 1941, two significant things happened. Dr. Roby was born, and our first, real antibiotic hit the commercial market place. Penicillin replaced the old sulfa, as the drug of choice to keep these kids alive, to grow up and have children of their own, who, by the way, were also born with imbalance and allergies, usually even more pronounced than their parents’. We are in about the fourth generation now, of increasingly allergic individuals, with increasingly unbalanced hormones, with fewer and fewer traditionally trained physicians, who actually understand the role of hormones. One hormone out of balance will cause other hormones to be out of balance, too.

Knowing that imbalanced hormones, hormone allergy and even airborne, chemical, or food allergies can cause the same symptoms that you present, we know that every one of your symptoms is treatable, and even those that you specifically mentioned as being cause for not taking hormone replacement, we treat with a combination of hormone allergy “neutralization” blocking, and “desensitizing” therapy. Time and again, we watch the symptoms just going away. This is because traditional doctors are trained to detect and treat diseases. What if you do not have a disease? What if you have been misdiagnosed, and you have an imbalance? We look past the obvious, and treat the symptoms as only that … symptoms of imbalance. If we treat the imbalance as the root cause, and fix the imbalance, the symptoms will take care of themselves. And begin to go away, gently, as the hormone balance takes effect.

We use a holistic combination of traditional medicine, where appropriate, complementary and alternative medicine, movement, dietary changes, bioidentical hormones, and spirituality (your spirituality, not ours). The first thing we do is stop the reaction, immediately, with a “neutralizing” dose of whichever substance is affecting you. We do this with sublingual drops, intradermal drops, and a battery of allergens deposited on the skin of the back. Dr. Roby doesn’t want anyone to have a major reaction, just enough to demonstrate the sensitivity level. This gives us a design for the longer term “desensitizing” treatment which is tailored to the individual, based on the results of her or his tests. Each treatment plan is for just one person. No two are alike.

Most of the people who have worked with Dr. Roby for the longest time, got to know him as patients. We understand exactly what you are going through. We’ve been there, and are some of his little miracles. Still alive and well, due to his treatment.

Would you be able to come here for testing and treatment? Because the law in Texas prohibits doctors from diagnosing, treating or prescribing for patients whom they haven’t seen in person, the first visit, and an annual retesting visit must be done here. Almost everything else can be taken care of by email and phone calls.

We would email a lab slip for you to have our standard hormone panel done more conveniently in a local lab that will take your insurance. We accept almost all healthcare plans, including MCare, MAid, and Military. We exclude Humana.

We offer an across the board, money back, satisfaction guarantee to all patients. If you come to see us, and we find that we cannot help you. Or you do not see significantly improvement before you leave the clinic, there is no charge for your visit. If you decide to try the protocol, and after a reasonable time are dissatisfied with the results, just let us know, and we will return any money that you have paid to us. We think that all doctors should be held to that standard.

If you think that you would like to come and see us, please call 800-842-6349. Ask for Pam, if she is available. If not, please leave a message and let her call you back. She can discuss all facets of a visit, fees and services, insurance benefits, email a lab slip, etc., and schedule the appointment itself.

Please let me know if you have more questions for me.

SYMPTOMS: NO ENERGY, PAIN, MEMORY LOSS, WEIGHT GAIN

Your Question:  Hi there , I became menopausal at age 40 due to ovararian cysts . Iam taking no hormones . I am a smoker and have fibrocystic tissue in my breast . I have been told that I can not take hormones. Are your treatments with hormones? Iam totally misurable and have been for 4 years , no energy, pain ,no memory, weight gain ,and total shut down from the public,I stay home dont wont to get involved in any thing. Can you help me or not?

Response:  We do work with hormones. Primarily, we treat people who have the same problems that you are presenting, because of a hormone imbalance and/or a true allergic response to one or more of their own hormones. We do treat fibrocystic breasts. Traditional medicine has given it a much grander name, “progesterone mediated hypersensitivity”.

We use a protocol that includes: “Neutralizing” the immediate allergic response. Dietary changes. Movement. Spirituality. Bio-identical hormone replacement therapy.

After testing to determine the actual substances causing your problems, we structure a longer term sublingual treatment, using the results of your tests, to make the sera, to “desensitize” you to the allergic reaction component, and stop the reaction which is causing the pain, the memory loss, and all of the other symptoms that you have listed. Each protocol is designed for just one individual. While the framework is always the same, each treatment is different.

We would like for you to go back to the website, and take advantage of the free download that Dr. Roby offers, of the first chapter of his new book, “Maybe It Is All In Your Head … And You Are Not Crazy!” This will help by giving you a better understanding of hormones in general. It will tell you something about your own hormones, and the role they play in your body functions. We teach you how to treat the problem with a blocking agent, so that you no longer have the reaction, put you back in control of your body, and keep you there. If, after reading the excerpt, you find that you still have questions, please email them to me, and we’ll work on getting the answers for you.

Since you live so close to us, why not pick up the phone, and call to make an appointment for an evaluation?

It won’t take very long to find out whether or not we can be of help to you. Dr. Roby will test for hormone reaction with a couple of drops under the tongue, and it usually takes from 10 to 30 seconds for the result for each one. We will also test for common allergies. People with the hormone problem, will almost always have multiple food sensitivities, along with airborrnes, environmental, and chemical allergies. Dr Roby discovered long ago, that the most effective way of treating is to treat everything at one time, instead of trying to do it separately. It produces the optimal result in a shorter time. We really like for our patients to do well on our protocols, and we are very supportive.

We know that hormones and allergies are so tightly interrelated, that it seems almost impossible to know where one stops and the other begins. Our immune systems are wondrous things, but when we have sustained inflammation, and are on an overload mode, they will become confused and attack anything coming near. We stop the attack mode, calm everything down, and start again, back to normal. Once the balance is brought back, the symptoms usually will have gently melted away, on their own.

We do accept almost all healthcare plans, including Medicare, Medicaid and Military. Humana is excluded. We offer a money back, satisfaction guarantee to all patients. If, on your first visit with us, we find that we cannot help you, the visit is free. If you decide to try the protocol, and after some time, conclude that it isn’t working the way that you had expected, just tell us and we will refund any money that you have paid to us.

If you would like to come in, call us at: 800-842-6349. My suggestion is that you ask for Pam, if she is available. If she isn’t, leave a message and let her call you back. She is really great, and knows all of the information to give you. She can email a lab slip for our standard hormone panel blood test, talk with you about insurance, discuss fees and services, give directions. In short, everything you ever wanted to know about Roby Institute, and its practices.

Please feel free to email me at any time. Thanks for sharing part of your life with us. Now, let’s see if we can help you get back to being the person that you really are.

Best regards,

Dorothy Dreux
